Day 1

I hope you made good use of your 1st day of break. We went to Washington Park and rode bikes and walked trails. we also rode our bikes from Washington Park to the State Capitol and then to the Illinois State Museum. The weather was great - not sure the rest of the week will be the same. I hope you enjoy your break.

Today's Effort

This morning 10 kids serving Saturday detentions (for various infractions) chose work over seat time, and collected this trash from school grounds and along Hargrave. Not bad for 40minutes work.

For the record: Taylor Ingram just nailed Act II. She is very much suited for the role of Cinderella. Her singing is amazing!

Cinderella Pre-show

The HS drama club is previewing the musical Cinderella for the students @ CES and CIS. Act I was treated with a loud applause and cheering! Hope u can make it to one of the shows this weekend.
