Important Message From The Athens Sports Boosters

Athens Sports Boosters in Jeopardy of Shutting Down!

After four years of service every Athens Sports Booster board member will be retiring this year.  Athens Sports Boosters will no longer exist if more community members do not volunteer to serve on the board.  Positions available are as follows:  President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.  Committee members are also needed.  Every year the sports boosters purchase numerous items for our sports teams so that they may continue to have quality programs.  Sports boosters also support our athletic teams by providing concessions throughout the year.  If the sports boosters close their doors these services will no longer be available.  There will be a special informational meeting on Wednesday, April 18 at 6:00 PM in the high school board room for anyone who is interested in becoming a sports booster board member.

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Spring Break. We are in the homestretch now. We have the Freshmen Orientation, ACT, PSAE, Prom, Senior Week, Senior Awards Night, Finals, and Graduation! This next 7 weeks will seem more like 7 days once we get rolling again this week.
